Pregnancy yoga starts Monday 24 August

I am thrilled to be launching dedicated pregnancy yoga classes in Huonville. Yoga calms the mind, reduces stress, and provides an opportunity to connect with our true selves.

During pregnancy, specially designed prenatal yoga classes are particularly beneficial. Regular practice can relieve muscle tension, increase stamina and strength, and improve physical and emotional wellbeing.

Best of all, a dedicated pregnancy yoga class gives you time and space to connect with your body and your baby at this special time.

Classes are specially tailored to meet pregnant women’s needs and can be adapted to be accessible for each person. The yoga will be gentle, relaxing and restorative. No prior experience of yoga or particular level of fitness is required.

In addition to my training as a Dru yoga teacher, I have undertaken specialist pre-natal yoga teacher training through the International Yoga Teachers Association. My study has given me the knowledge and experience to provide safe, appropriate yoga classes for pregnant women to get in touch with their bodies and prepare for the birth of their babies.
